ESG & Portfolio Analyst

M.H. Carnegie & Co. is seeking an ESG & Portfolio Analyst to support our healthcare real estate investment platform.

Working alongside senior investment professionals, you'll contribute to ESG reporting, portfolio analytics and sustainable investment initiatives across a growing healthcare portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to develop specialist expertise while gaining exposure to investment strategy, responsible investing and healthcare real estate.

In this role, you will:

  • Support quarterly investor reporting and annual ESG reporting.

  • Collect, analyse and maintain portfolio ESG data, KPI dashboards and benchmarking metrics.

  • Develop and maintain frameworks to assess, benchmark and monitor portfolio investments, including M.H. Carnegie's impact investment framework.

  • Partner with asset operators to coordinate ESG reporting, monitor performance and support ongoing sustainability initiatives.

  • Contribute ESG analysis to investment papers, portfolio reviews and due diligence processes.

  • Undertake market, regulatory and industry research, helping develop insights that support M.H. Carnegie's thought leadership.

  • Prepare presentations and reporting materials for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide analytical support across broader investment and portfolio activities as required.

About you

You are an analytical and commercially minded professional looking to build your career in ESG, sustainable investment and healthcare real estate.

You'll bring:

  • Approximately 3+ years' experience in ESG, portfolio analytics, consulting or a related field.

  • Experience within property, healthcare, infrastructure or another investment-related industry.

  • Strong analytical and research capability, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong PowerPoint skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to work confidently with data.

  • A genuine interest in ESG, healthcare, aged care and sustainable finance.

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to work across a broad range of investment and sustainability initiatives.
